Project Mixx was formed through one of the first Mmmmaven classes. We shared a common vision for DJing and music, as well as using it as a means to give back to our community. As a result, one of our first initiatives was the Project Mixx Mmmmaven Scholarship Foundation.
Their mission statement is as follows:
We are artists pursuing our passions, and expressing our love through music. We are humanitarians dedicated to making a difference in our communities and society. We are DJs committed to building a unique, close-knit community of DJs, friends, music lovers, and nightlife enthusiasts unified through a diverse and sophisticated array of electronic music.
Through The Project Mixx Mmmmaven Scholarship Foundation, our goal is to help support artists pursuing their passions in music and making a difference in the community.
If you’d like to apply and join the two other past scholarship recipients, then please write a 1,000 word essay explaining how you identify with the Project Mixx mission statement and what you can do to make a difference through music.
The essay should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org
