After years of feedback from professional DJs, Pioneer released an update for rekordbox, a handy bit of software designed to prepare music libraries on external storage devices for use with Pioneer’s hardware, such as CDJs. You can download rekordbox 3.0 here for free!
The revamped software includes a new and much more intuitive user interface. Among the new features, the “match” function allows DJs to connect similar tracks that go well with one another for quick access during performances. The software will also make suggestions based on certain aspects of a song including key and BPM. Check out this video that demonstrates rekordbox’s new capabilities!
