The trial version is now called Serato Lite (formerly Serato Intro), while the full version has been renamed Serato DJ Pro. Where previous versions required a controller or proprietary hardware, the new versions don’t. They now come with a “practice mode” that allows for in-computer mixing.
New users can now download Serato Lite and get started immediately without a license or any kind of controller.
