The new Denon DJ MCX8000 is a truly exciting DJ system. We’ve seen controllers that look and perform similarly to the MCX8000 – Pioneer DJ’s DDJ-SX2 or the Numark NS7III for instance. However where Denon has increased in quality, features, versatility, portability, and compatibility they have also decreased in price making this product rather one of a kind. This console has more features than most of it’s competitors, it looks and feels great, and it doesn’t require a computer. The MCX8000 bridges the gap between a standard inexpensive USB/MIDI DJ controller and a very expensive CDJ plus DJM/mixer set up. The MCX8000 uses Denon’s Engine software to analyze tracks and set cue points, but it is also a Serato compatible device, and you can import your Serato sets straight into Engine with ease. The MCX8000 features two built in screens for use with Serato DJ and a four channel mixer with more than enough inputs and outputs. The MCX8000 can also be connected to lighting devices and even pyrotechnics with ease. Denon has stepped up their game with the MCX8000.
