The New Music Business [9/11] #FREE

Each and every Friday, we’re proud to open the doors of our music school in Central Square for a FREE seminar, demo or meet-up. Hell, we’ll even throw a classical music concert or two. What’s in store this week? Let’s find out:

You’re talented and you have a passion for making music. But the books you’ve read on how to make the most money off this talent are filled with old-school knowledge.

As you’ve collaborated and contributed, you’ve found it harder and harder to get income for your art form.

Join the discussion with Executive Director David Day in a free meet-up to talk about how to make money as a musician in today’s fast-moving musical world. Welcome to The New Music Business.

RSVP here.

For more insights into the mind of our co-founder and Executive Director, you can find 9 different columns over at LinkedIn–these especially include the last three, titled “The New Music.”

David Day is a longtime Boston resident who began Together Boston, Boston’s city-wide springtime celebration of music, art, and technology. His day job is as co-director Mmmmaven, the Cambridge-based music technology initiative that teaches Ableton, Serato and other programs in addition to being an event production company and artist agency.
